I closed my business today. It’s a decision that’s been coming for months, and one I made earlier in the week. Today I finally made an active move to close things down; I password protected my Shopify account, so that when people visit the site is now says “Zlanarama is taking an indefinite hiatus. Thank you for your interest.”
It was one of the most painful things I’ve ever had to do. It’s admitting defeat, in a way. It’s saying goodbye to a chapter of my life that used to give me so much hope.
But I need to move on; find some peace, some balance. I’ve come to a place where I need to re-examine where I am, and find my path in life.
